Tasting Notes ...
WHITE WINE - COTES DE GASCOGNE - SOUTH WEST FRANCE
Appellation: Vin de Pays des Côtes de Gascogne
Origin: Gascogne - Gers - Eauze
Grape: Chardonnay
Tasting commentary, by cellarman Francis Miquel:
"Magnificent pale gold colour, very bright and limpid. First aroma very subtile, floral character, light vanilla hints. The aeration is complex with woody touches, fresh butter, hazelnut and even though lightly toasted this wine remains young. A very fresh taste at the beginning, powerful and rich, with a beautiful recurrence of toasted bread.
Serving suggestion:
Excellent with fish, white meat and cheese.
Serve slightly chilled, around 12°C
Should be stored upright, in a cool dark place. |
